End-user licence

DFrame Software Licence

This licence explains how an authorised user may install and use the DFrame add-in for Autodesk Revit.

Last updated: 26 July 2026
Pre-launch legal draft

DFrame is not accepting live payments yet. Official company, registration, VAT and business-address details will be added before paid public access is enabled.

1. Licence grant

Subject to a valid trial, founding-beta licence or paid subscription, DFrame grants the authorised named user a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to install and use DFrame for internal professional work on supported Windows and Autodesk Revit versions.

2. Named users and devices

A named-user licence may only be used by the person to whom it is issued. Device activation limits may apply. Licence keys, offline tokens and activation data must not be shared, published or used to provide access to an unauthorised user.

3. Online and offline validation

DFrame periodically validates licence status through its secure licensing service. Following a successful validation, eligible licences can continue offline for up to seven days. Internet access is then required to refresh the licence. An expired, cancelled, suspended or invalid licence may hide or disable licensed modules.

4. Permitted use

  • Use DFrame in supported Autodesk Revit projects.
  • Create project output using the licensed modules.
  • Install eligible updates supplied through official DFrame channels.
  • Keep reasonable backup copies of installers for authorised internal use.

5. Restrictions

You may not, except where applicable law expressly permits it:

  • share, sublicense, rent, resell or transfer the licence;
  • circumvent licence, machine-binding or module-access controls;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble DFrame;
  • remove proprietary notices or present DFrame as your own product;
  • use DFrame to infringe rights or violate applicable law.

6. User content and generated output

You retain ownership of your Revit models and project data. DFrame does not acquire ownership of content merely because the software processes it. You remain responsible for reviewing generated output, backups, project compliance and professional decisions.

7. Updates and third-party software

Updates may add, change or remove features to improve security, compatibility or product quality. Autodesk Revit, Microsoft Azure, Stripe and other third-party products or services are governed by their own terms. DFrame is an independent product and is not endorsed by or affiliated with Autodesk.

8. Suspension and termination

Licence access may be suspended or terminated when the trial or subscription ends, payment remains unresolved, the licence is abused or these terms are materially breached. Provisions concerning intellectual property, restrictions, liability and applicable law survive termination where appropriate.

9. Support and contact

Licence questions can be sent to support@dframe.nl. This licence should be read together with the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
