Operating system64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11. DFrame is not a native macOS add-in.
Autodesk RevitDFrame supports Revit 2025, Revit 2026 and Revit 2027.
Current public installerThe current Beta 0.1.0 installer includes Revit 2025–2027, with separate add-in files and registrations for each version.
.NET runtimeThe installer checks the required Microsoft .NET runtime and reports missing prerequisites.
InternetRequired for registration, email confirmation, downloading updates and online feedback or support. During the active beta, choose Beta without a licence key; the installed release checks the shared beta period.
PermissionsThe user must be able to install the add-in and write DFrame settings and logs in the Windows user profile.
Model contextFamily Library requires an open Revit project, an accessible approved library folder and compatible Revit family files.
DisplayA modern display at standard Windows scaling is recommended. DFrame windows are designed to resize, but very small work areas reduce usable table space.
Revit version policy
The installer includes separate builds for Revit 2025, 2026 and 2027. Close every running Revit session before installing or updating. Keep your Revit installation up to date and follow the beta quick start.
