From installer to first result

Check the environment
Use a supported 64-bit Windows system with a validated Autodesk Revit 2025–2027 release and review the system requirements before installation.

Protect the model
Create a backup or use a disposable test model. Do not evaluate a new automation workflow for the first time in production data.

Install DFrame
Close Revit, run the installer supplied by DFrame and follow any prerequisite prompts. Start Revit again after setup completes.

Activate the licence
Open DFrame Hub, choose License and enter the licence key supplied through the DFrame licensing flow.

Choose modules
Enable the licensed modules you want to show in the DFrame ribbon. Restart Revit when activation or ribbon changes request it.

Run a reviewed workflow
Open one module, inspect its selection and settings, use Preview when available and verify the result before committing broader changes.
When something does not work
Stop the operation, keep the model unchanged where possible and review the DFrame notification and module log. The support guide lists the information needed for a useful report.
