Pre-launch transparency

Known Limitations

DFrame reports unsupported or uncertain situations instead of promising that every model, family or geometry type can be automated.

Review before production use

Pre-launch status

DFrame is still in development and validation before its first public production release. Interface and workflow details can change.

Revit versions

The first public release targets Revit 2025 and Revit 2026. A version is supported only after its complete release matrix passes; other installer targets are not a promise of support.

Model responsibility

Automation output must be reviewed by a qualified user. Maintain backups and verify results before issuing or exchanging model data.

Structural Skeleton

The module targets supported plate-like geometry. Complex curves, bends and openings can be simplified or skipped and require close preview review.

Clash Detective

The module supports focused in-Revit coordination checks. It is not a replacement for a complete federated Navisworks coordination and approval process.

Workflow

Workflow opens and sequences supported DFrame module steps. It does not record arbitrary native Revit actions or run unattended model changes in the background.

Model Replay

History is recorded while DFrame is active. Replay navigates recorded events; it does not restore an earlier model state or replace version control.

Analytics and optimisation

Model Analytics and Model Optimizer report defined metrics and threshold-based guidance. They are not low-level performance profilers and cannot prove the cause of every slowdown.

Export formats

Available output depends on Revit API support, selected view or sheet type and installed export capabilities. DFrame does not silently substitute another format.

Linked and library content

Unloaded links, inaccessible paths, protected files and incomplete source metadata can limit analysis, thumbnails and batch operations.

Report an unexpected result

A result outside this documented scope may still be a defect. Stop the workflow and send the module name, steps, screenshot and log to DFrame support.
